Podcast 190: Sjurdur Skaale, Four Years Later

This week, we talk to Faroese politician and comedian Sjurdur Skaale. When we first spoke to Skaale in 2009, he had recently been elected to the Faroese parliament and was a leading voice for Faroese independence.

Four years later, Skaale is now in the Danish parliament as one of two MPs who represent the Faroe Islands. He has also switched political parties, moving from the pro-independence Republic party to the pro-union Social Democratic party. We'll talk to him about his change of heart regarding independence and what it's like being Faroese in Denmark.

Then we buy an expensive tank of gas.
